His name is Misha Ullman. He happens to be a Jew. and is proud of it. He also has been guilty of the heinous crime of wanting to emigrate to Israel. Misha is 27 years old and a radio construction engineer. Unemployed for almost a year because of his announced desire to leave Russia. he lives or exists alone in Riga. Latvia. U.S.S.R. This man is seeking to obtain an exit visa to Israel in order to be reunited with his mother. Both mother and son were granted such visas in 1971. but only Mrs. Ullman was allowed to leave. She was told that her son would be allowed to follow her in 2 months.
