Session #92 · 1971–73

Speech #920302215

Mr. President. I yield myself 1 minute. Mr. President. I do not. want the RECORD to show that we did. not do anything for the migrant workers. We have. There is a great deal. of money in the bill for them. We can go back to the vetoed bill. This is almost a 50percent increase over last year. I do not want to be here. and I do not think anyone else wants to be here much longer. But adding money above the level of the vetoed bill is unrealistic. We have to accommodate ourselves to a veto. Otherwise. it should be abolished.
