I thank the Senator. It exempts those two organizations. then. But if this cut is directed to all of them you are seriously crippling important agencies such as the Childrens Fund. the FAO. which deals with food. Palestinian refugees. who are now in dire need as a result of cuts. I hope very much that the amendment of the Senator from Nebraska will be agreed to so that a reduction to 25 percent can be worked out. We should not cut off the humane activities of the United Nations and our participation in them in the pursuit of the 25 percent figure.
