The fact is that there are today hundreds of thousands of war victims In Cambodia. many who have been killed. because of the escalation of the war there due to the military intrusion of this administration. The fact is a similar situation exists in Laos due to the escalation of the air war. The Senator can use whatever mathematics he wants to use. but we can show that. in -terms of the numbers of refugees and the numbers of civilian casualties. that there has been an escalation. . As far as the mathematics are concerned. if the Senator can add as well as I think he can. I think. it is not unreasonable to suggest thatthere has been an escalation.
