Session #91 · 1969–71

Speech #910337332

For several decades. MIKE has conscientiously served the best interests of his constituents. his State. and the Nation. His service on the Judiciary Committee and his deliberate dedication on the Immigrant Subcommittee stand as a memorial far more articulate than any tribute we could pay to him here in the Chamber today. But. his parting cannot be allowed to pass without our taking the time to express our appreciation for his counsel and service and our sadness that he will not be with us when the House convenes next month. We wish him an abundance of good health and many more fruitful years of public service.
