Former vicelpresident of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and former general manager of the New York Dress Joint Board. as well as a founder of the Liberal Party. Julius Hochman was the true selfmade. selfeducated man. An immigrant to this country at the age of 15. Julius Hochman rose to intellectual and political eminence. Julius Hochman was a man who took full advantage of the opportunities that America had to offer. And to his great credit. and to our great benefit. he fought to secure these opportunities for us all.
