Mr. Speaker. I rise in support of H.R. 14654. a private bill which provides that. for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Dr. Olga Concepcion Perez de Lanio shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence on April 21. 1962. The beneficiary would therefore be eligible for immediate naturalization if she meets the requirements other than that relating to the period of permanent residence in the United States. Dr. Lanio. a Cuban by birth. first entered the United States at Miami. Fla.. on April 21. 1962. She reentered as a permanent resident on November 23. 1964. and now resides at 8810 Lanier Drive.
