Speech #900229323

Atlanta. Ga.: I think it is a universal problem or a national problem. I feel that racial discrimination and segregation plus the immigration of millions of Negro citizens Into the urban centers of America have created the most serious domestic problem that the nation has ever been confronted with. Basically It gets down to an opportunity for good housing. reasonable housing. job opportunity. and adequate education. No matter how far we go away from the basics of the problem. we always get back to the fact that both the poverty areas. white and Negroprincipally Negroin this country have been deprived of the full opportunity to be a full American citizen.
