It is absolutely ridiculous to allow only a $600 deduction per child. Anyone who has a child in college. or even high school. know $600 is a mere "drop in the bucket" as far as expenses of raising and educating a child in the manner that they must be educated to meet job requirements of today. We just graduated our third child from Kansas State University and by the time we borrowed money to pay our Income tax. we had quite a struggle to find enough money for college expenses.
