The letters. signed by former Under Secretary of State and U.S. Ambassador Robert Murphy. were written in behalf of Walker L. Cisler. chairman of the board of the Detroit Edison Co.. George Meany. president of the AFLCIO. and Gen. David Sarnoff. chairman of Radio Corp. of America.
