Speech #890018896

We cant--even for one dayabdicate our responsibility by letting our countrys honor become something to which we give lipservice. but no action. This holds true. even A943 down to the level of our possibly ignoring a stop sign just because no one is around to see us or arrest us. To my contemporaries I say. though we must progress. let us not mar the beauty of the gem by defacing the proven truths that have come to us through our great good fortunes of birth or naturalization. Because it is in God we trust to guide us. we young people can meet each challenge and carry onand onand on. But. we must fit ourselves to meet the goads and challenges that would subvert our thinking and the great American way of life.
