Mr.-President. on behalf of myself and my colleague. the junior Senator from New York . I introduce. for appropriate reference. a bill to provide for the striking of a liberty series of three medals in commemoration of the Federal Hall National Memorial. Castle Clinton National Monument. and the Statue of Liberty National Monument American Museum of Immigration. All three of these great historic landmarks. located in the downtown Manhattan area of New York City. have been recognized as national historic shrines. and are presently being reconstructed by the National Park Service. New York City. my home city. will be celebrating the 300th anniversary of its founding in 1664.
