It is my fervent hope that when next Lithuanias Independence Day rolls around the peoples of the free world will have made some gains in moving the machinery of the United Nations toward greater freedoms to the peoples behind the Iron Curtain." This surely is my hope for the people of Estonia as it is for all suppressed peoples. May their decisions. right or wrong. be their own and not of others imposed upon them. I ask unanimous consent that a declaration unanimously adopted by Americans of Estonian descent. as well as Estonian refugees in this country. gathered at the commemoration of the 44th anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Estonia. at Howard Taft High School.
