Early in the spring they were first accused of antiSoviet policies. They were forced to allow the stationing of Soviet troops in Lithuania. Their little country was overrun by the Red Army. and then. on orders from the Kremlin. all Lithuanian leaders were arrested and exiled to Siberia. In 1 year. from June 1940 to June 1941. it is reported that more than 50.000 innocent and patriotic A4421 Lithuanians were imprisoned in concentration or prisonlabor camps in Asiatic Russia.
