Sizable numbers of American military personnel are still stationed in Korea. Formosa. Okinawa. Japan. and other Far Eastern areas. While there has been some opposition to the admission of foreign orphan children. as well as other immigrants. I can think of no more worthy cause than to assist homeless and helpless children whom American families wish to adopt. Among the other humanitarian organizations assisting the adoption of Asian children is that of Welcome House. an agency established by the famed author.
