President. the New York Times magazine for April 16 contained an article by the distinguished chairman of the then Senate Interstate and Foreign Commerce Committee. Hon. WARREN G. MAGNUSON. which I believe is of tremendous interest to those of us who are vitally concerned with promoting the U.S. tourist attractions throughout the world. Senator MAGNUSONs article entitled "Columbus Couldnt Get a Visa." raises some cogent points which have constituted barriers in developing this great land of ours as a place to visit for traveling citizens of the world.
