It has absorbed and integrated an average of about 100.000 immigrants every yeara task comparable to the absorption by the United States of 10 million new citizens a year. In addition Israel has raised its agricultural production. increased the amount of cultivable land. extended the social services available to its citizens. and further expanded its industry.
