I feel that we can enlist the support of the United Nations in undertaking programs to remove some of the basic sources of tension and unrest in that area. Indeed. I recommended such action in substance. in 1953 upon my return from the Middle East. where I had been reviewing the problem of what to do about the Arab refugees.
