Mr. President. I ask the Chair to lay before the Senate the amendment of the House of Representatives to S. 2239. for the relief of Wadiha Salime Hamade. The Chair laid before the Senate the amendment of the House of Representatives to the bill for the relief of Wadiha Salime Hamade. which was. to strike out all after the enacting clause and insert: That the Attorney General is authorized and directed to cancel any outstanding orders and warrants of deportation. warrant of arrest. and bonds. which may have issued in the case of Wadiha Salime Hamade. From and after the date of the enactment of this act. the said Waliha Salime Hamade shall not again be subject to deportation by reason of the same facts upon which such deportation proceedings were commenced or any such warrant and orders have issued.
