Session #85 · 1957–59

Speech #850195684

What is needed is the courage and the optimism of those who built the countrythe free enterprisers. in other words. the people who venture. I remember that when I graduated from law school. I went to a small sawmill town. That sawmill went out of business. The atmosphere was so filled with gloom that one could almost cut it with a knife. People said. "Everything is going down. There is no chance any more." However. in that small town there were two immigrant Polish boysAndrewjeski and Petrowskl. They could read or write very little English. Their work was repairing shoes.
