Mr. Speaker. the Daughters of the American Revolution have always taken an active interest in all kinds of immigration. In the first few years of my service here in the House of Representatives I took a very special interest in matters of immigration. and was the author of some very important legislation. I still feel that we should not throw our gates open to all the undesirables of the world. but that we should enforce our immigration laws and admit only those who will cooperate with the American way of life. In other words. we should prevent the influx of undesirables. and we should expel those who have proven themselves to be undesirable. The following is an article that appeared recently in one of the newspapers of our district. and which expresses the views of the Daughters of the American Revolution:
