Session #85 · 1957–59

Speech #850063761

I knew Louis Rabinowitz. the gentleman of whom the Senator from Minnesota speaks. for many years as a friend and distinguished fellow New Yorker. It certainly reflects a great deal of credit on the Senator from Minnesota to make his significant observations in memoriam of the rather typical career of an immigrant who came to our country because of our institutions and opportunities. and did so well for our community and our country. as well as in a personal sense. His family will be most grateful for this fine expression. It is a very fine thing that the Senator from Minnesota has seen fit to speak of these things on the floor of the Senate. and to give national recognition to them.
