Mr. Speaker. I am very happy to know that the Irish people in Ireland. and Irish immigrants here. have manifested a keen interest in the welfare of Israel. and deeply sympathize with the aspirations of the Israeli people. Witness the many Irish Americans in this House who signed the petition for arms for Israel and who have manifested on many occasions their genuine regard for the welfare of Israel. In that connection. I might say that I am very much concerned with the policy that has been expressed by our State Department and our President visavis Israel. I would call that policy a policy of delay. indecision. and inaction.
