I have been furnished with information concerning certain of these individuals by the House Committee on UnAmerican Activities. This information is contained in the public records. files. and publications of the committee. I understand that these reports are not necessarily to be construed as representing the results of an investigation by or findings of the committee. It should also be noted that these individuals are not necessarily Communists. Communist sympathizers. or fellow travelers.
