Speech #830194545

Mr. President. an objection has been noted by the Senator from New York to my .unanimousconsent request that the Senate proceed to the consideration of Calendar No. 1612. S. 2862. to provide relief for the sheepraising industry by making special nonquota immigration visas available to certain skilled alien sheepherders. Inasmuch as the objection has been noted. I desire to have the bill go over for consideration until tomorrow. I now ask unanimous consent that the unfinished business. H. R. 9474. to extend the authority of the President to enter into trade agreements. be temporarily laid aside and the Senate proceed to the -consideration of Calendar No. 1633.
