In addition to all our other commitments. we are talking about going into that area and setting up the Hawaiian Islands as a State. I am not predicting the worst for Asia. but certainly until Japan is built up into a formidable power. I do not see how Asiatic communism can be stopped unless we enter into an allout war. In view of the facts I have cited. my point is that we had better stop. look. and listen. and try to determine what will develop. If Asiatic communism spreads. if it continues to rise as is now the case. and we take in Hawaii as a State. what will be the chief focal point for Asiatic communism coming into the United States? It will be right through Hawaii. and right through the Senate doors. This will be their target.
