Already enough has been said here on this floor that I fear that it Is going to hurt the United States seriously and it is going to be a club in the hands of the Communists. Our unhospitable attitude is far more dangerous to our safety than bringing in on a 30day visa these visitors who are the elected representatives of the peoples of the world. We are ourselves placing the United States in jeopardy. not those people. If this country ever falls. it has been repeatedly said it is going to be from within rather than from without. If we ever give the Communists the force that they need to spread their propaganda. it is going to be because of what we do or refuse to do. not because of what somebody from the outside does.
