They want to pay their transportation. They want to give them a job here. If they arrange a job or provide transportation for these unfortunates they cannot get them in. Those provisions are waived in this bill with respect to the displaced persons. That I approve. Those provisions of law contained in the contract labor law and the transportation act are not waived with respect to the individuals of German ethnic origin. On page 13. line 11. it is provided that people of German ethnic origin who were born in Czechoslovakia. Estonia. Hungary. Latvia. Poland. Rumania. Russia. or Yugoslavia may under certain conditions come to this country.
