Mr. President. I want to say again at this moment that I see no difference in allowing the products of cheap labor from Asiatic and European countries to come into this country. I see no difference in that method of leveling the standards of living. and in allowing unlimited immigration. As a matter of fact. I make the statement. and I shall be ready to debate it with any Member of the Senate. that a Member that would vote for free trade in this country. in leveling the living standards to the living standards of the world. would have a hard time justifying a vote against free immigration.
