This UN effort is an attempt to get enough together at one time to end the problem in the next few months. Actually. in view of the share that the United States had in developing the sitation which has produced the tragedy. I do not know just what percentage would be fair. Probably we are responsible for more than 50 percent. But whoever else is responsible. these homeless. hungry. halfnaked refugees are not responsible. Their plight developed from an action initiated by the United Nations.partly at our urging. We all ought to share in helping them as we have similar unfortunate people elsewhere.
