I do not know anything about him as a lawteacher.- But he is the chairman of perhapsthe most .active committee upon this subject. that -has resorted- to every - highpressure method known to lobbyists in this country. He is the chairman of the Citizens Committee on Displaced -Persons.. And. as pointed out previously in the RECORD. this is the organization which has a lobby here in Congress and a pay roll aggregating $152.000 a year to lobby the Congress to break down these barriers on immigration. Mr. President. do Senators want that kind of a man as their authority in the criticism of any bill of the Senate?
