That is why I would like to see the House give TVA $4.000.000 to build their steam plant. to supplement the hydro developed by it. That would raise the hydro development to its greatest efficiency and usefulness. The demand for electricity is mounting every week all over the Nation. Since we have resurrected this old war plant. since we have built it and made a success of it. since it has attracted industry and immigration to that part of the country. I hope we can give them this additional money in order to make better use of the hydro facilities on the. Tennessee and the other rivers in that area.
