5AKIMOWICZ The bill for the relief of Mrs. Edna Mary Jakimowicz was considered. ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. was read the third time. and passed. as follows: Be it enacted. etc.. That notwithstanding the provisions of the tenth category of section 3 of the Immigration Act of 1917 (8 U. S. C. 136 (e)). Edna Mary Jakimowicz. the wife of a citizen of the United States who served honorably in the armed forces of the United States during World War II. may be admitted to the United States for permanent residence under the act approved December 28. 1945 (Public Law 271. 79th Cong.). If she is found otherwise admissible under the provisions of the immigration laws.
