United States and Mexico. is hereby authorized to expend. out of any unencumbered balance of appropriations to the Department of State for construction for the fiscal year 1947 under the heading "International Boundary and Water Commission. United States and Mexico" (Public Law 490. approved July 5. 1946). a maximum of $300.000 for the construction. operation. and maintenance of the western land boundary fence project and $300.000 for the construction. operation. and maintenance of the Rio Grande border fence project. SEC. 2. There is authorized to be appropriated for said projects. or expended therefor out of appropriated funds for construction projects. for the International Boundary and Water Commission.
