Following the recent war. the British. without consulting us. stopped the immigration of Jews into Palestine. After tremendous protest. the British Government jointly. with our Government. established an AngloAmerican Commission which studied this problem. and after months of deliberation and investigation. recommended the admission of 100.000 Jews to Palestine. The British Government promptly reneged on the official AngloAmerican Commissions recommendations for the admission of 100.000 Jews to Palestine.
