The organization was confronted even before it was organized by problems of two types: First. broad problems of concern to many states or to the whole world. such as the food crisis. the control of atomic energy. trade and employment. health. and refugees. and. second. specific problems such as Spain and the problems dealt with by the Security Council concerning Iran. Greece. Indonesia. and Syria. and Lebanon.
