Session #79 · 1945–47

Speech #790119539

I would like to ask a question. The gentleman from Tennessee stated that the admission of these citizens of foreign countries would be limited to those necessary to the condfuct of the work of this International Organization. I refer the gentleman to page 9 of the bill which amends the Immigration Act so as to permit the admission of an alien officer or employee of an international organization. his family. attendants. servants. and employees. I can find no restriction in the bill on the number of attendants. servants. and employees that that individual might have. I am wondering if there is any restriction.
