Mr. Speaker. I move to strike out the last word. Mr. Speaker. H. R. 511 is here with the approval of the Committee on Immigration and Naturalization. It contains three provisions. I do not think there is any particular objection to this bill. but I will explain it briefly. The first section provides that aliens who have been in this country prior toJuly 1. 1944. and who are more than 50 years of age. and who otherwise comply with all the nationality laws. rules. and regulations. may file petitions. for citizenship and waive the educational requirements now provided by law.
