Mr. President. I am not a member of the Committee on Immigration. but I happen to know the purport of the bill. The report was submitted to the Senate by the Senator from Georgia . after a complete investigation of cases of men born in foreign countries now serving or having served In the naval and military forces of the United States. which cases would come under the provisions of the bill. I am sure that all Senators within hearing of my voice know that the Senator from Georgia is very diligent in investigating immigration cases. and on behalf of the Committee on Immigration he has reported the bill favorably.
