L. protesting against the testimony given by the A. F. L. representative and urging favorable consideration of the bills repealing the Chinese Exclusion Act. It is just a question of policy and the policy. in the opinion of the American people as I have viewed it in the last several months. is to give courage to China in this war and to give China an equal footing and equal respect with other nations who are our friends today. As I stated a week ago. -if you would give China a quota of 105 and if that quota lasted for 50 years you would have less Chinese in this country than you have Japs today.
