It is a bill to provide for the naturalization of citizens of the United States who have lost their citizenship by taking the oath of allegiance to our Allies in this war. In other words. it provides for the return to the American armed forces of approximately 20.000 American citizens who. prior to December 7. 1941. enlisted in the Canadian and British forces. There are some 5.000 of these men who are members of the Royal Air Force and the Canadian Air Corps.
