Reserving the right to object. and I do not intend to object. I wish to clarify the situation to the House by making this statement. I want the House to know that the Committee on Naturalization and Immigration has been very careful not to report any bill unless a definite investigation has been made by the Department of Justice and the Immigration Service. We have hundreds of similar bills before our committees. but only a few bills are on the calendar. and none has been reported out of the committee except after careful consideration and study. The committee has not reported any bills unless such investigation was made.
