I say that we cannot destroy the rank and file of honest and hardworking people for the acts of a few men. I have previously stated on the floor of this House that if we are going to adopt legislation. let us adopt legislation which will rid this country of the Communists and racketeers who have been allowed to creep into key positions in .labor unions. Those men are the ones who have caused the trouble. Those men should have been deported or placed behind the bars long ago. They have no place -in the American way of living. Thank God we have none of this type in Connecticut.
