Mr. Speaker. I do this for the purpose of solemnly and as earnestly as I know how. -protesting against the action taken by our State Department in denying a visa for entry into this country to Miss Muriel Lester. I do not know how many Members of the House know who Miss Lester is. She is an Englishwoman who once was wealthy but who gave all her money and most of her life for the establishment of a settlement house in East London and has devoted her life to preaching the Christian gospel as she sees it to thousands of people throughout the world.
