May I recall to the minds of the membership of this House what George Washington said long ago about the responsibility of citizenship: Citizens by birth or choice of a common country. that country has the right to consecrate your affections. The namd of AmerIca must always exalt the just pride of a nation. Mr. Speaker. it is well that we heed the challenge of the Father of our Country.
