But Madam Secretary of Labor Perkins appointed a Harvard Law School dean to hear the case. and after several months of testimony Bridges was allowed to remain with us. Now the Department of Justice is trying its hand at deporting Bridges. and what manner of success it will have is anybodys guess. Getting rid of an alien these days is a difficult task. Oh. yes. one Jivatode. a Raleigh alien. was deported several months ago. But Jlvatode was a harmless newsboynot a Communist.
