It is commonly known that the Communist Party has been trying to worm its way into American labor organizations and to accomplish its purpose through these channels. This being the case. It does seem that any group of organized labor is doing itself a great injustice by taking action. the purpose of which is to prevent the deportation and elimination from this country of these alien agitators. many of whom do their most destructive work in organized labor units. I stand squarely with the American Federation of Labor. with the American Legion. and with all veteran and patriotic organizations in the belief that every lawful means should be used to return these alien agitators to their own countries. Of course. it is true that this bill. as indicated above. affects only the four groups mentioned.
