I do not know. but every kind of fraud on earth has been perpetrated. it seems to me. to bring people into this country in violation of our immigration laws. I am not saying this with reference to the distinguished gentleman from Hawaii . He has not been a party to it. but I do know. and Members of this House know generally that the immigration laws of 1924 have been overridden. they have been violated. they have been disregarded. and hordes of people have come in that were excluded by the law and who could not have come in if the law had been enforced. I am afraid if you make this a blanket proposition you are going to leave another loophole for a number of undesirables to come to this country that we do not want and that we have been trying to keep out since 1924. I think the gentleman ought to introduce private bills for each one of these cases and let them come before the House and have each one considered on its merits.
