Mr. President. I present and ask that there be printed in full in the RECORD resolutions from the Massachusetts General Court memorializing the President and the Congress relative to increasing immigration quotas. so as to enable persecuted Jewish people in Germany to enter the United States. The resolutions were referred to the Committee on Immigration and ordered to be printed in the RECORD. as follows: Resolutions memorializing the President and the Congress of the United States relative to increasing. immigration quotas so as to enable persecuted Jewish people in Germany to enter the United States Resolved. That the General Court of Massachusetts respectfully represents to the President and the Congress of the United States of America the necessity of increasing the existing immigration quotas for the purpose of enabling persecuted Jewish people in Germany to enter the United States. and be it further Resolved. That copies of these resolutions be forwarded forthwith by the secretary of the Commonwealth to the President of the United States. the presiding officers of both branches of Congress. and to the Members of Congress from Massachusetts. In house of representatives. adopted February 20. 1934.
