Mr. President. during the Seventysecond Congress I presented S. 3217 to reduce certain naturalization fees and S. 3218 to reduce the fees for records of registry. but no action was taken by the Senate Committee on Immigration on either of these measures. Therefore. I am reintroducing them both. as I am hopeful that relief of this nature can be granted to those in more or less straitened circumstances who are unable to meet the excessive fees now demanded. The report of the National Council on Naturalization and Citizenship. with related data. presented by Mr. WALSH. was referred to the Committee on Immigration. to accompany the bills. and ordered to be printed in the RECORD. as follows:
